Account Management

Does Kingdom Provisions share my Account information?

Your account and payment information is never shared with anyone or made visible to others. Kingdom Provisions recommends that customers always protect their account information by logging out and closing their browsers after using the Kingdom Provisions website. We also recommend that customers create strong passwords and not share them.

How do I log in?

The login link is located on the top right on every web page of the site. The login page requires your user name (email address) and password.

How do I change my password?

When you log in to your account, you will land on your account’s “dashboard”. On the left menu, select “Account details”. You will see the fields to fill in to change your password.

What if I lose my password?

If you are not logged in to your account, click “login” located at the top right corner. Scroll down to the ‘lost your password’ link. Click on the link. An email will be sent to you with a link to create a new password.

How do I change my email address?

If you are not logged in to your account, click “login” located at the top right corner. Otherwise click on “My Account” at the top right corner of the site. Once in “My Account,” on the left side you will see a menu. Select “Account details”.  Change the existing email address to the one you want to use for both receiving emails and as your username for login. Save changes.

How do I close my Account?

Contact customerservice@mykingdomprovisions.com in writing to request removal of your Account information. Kingdom Provisions will remove accounts within 24 hours of your request.

Food and Recipes

How long does it take to prepare and cook Kingdom Provision dinners?

Dinners take on average 45 minutes to prepare.

How long will food stay fresh?

Kingdom Provisions recommends that customers unpack and refrigerate perishable ingredients immediately after delivery.  After delivery we also recommend you prepare your Dinner Basket on the same day or no later than 24 hours the next day after delivery to enjoy the freshest tastes.

What size portions is included in the dinner basket?

Kingdom Provisions’ portion sizes are generous and made to fill hungry appetites. Typical meat and vegetable portions are above the recommended serving sizes from the USDA. Leftovers are likely the rule, not the exception.

How does Kingdom Provisions develop its menus?

Kingdom Provisions works with a team of consultants who develop, test, and taste recipes. We also rely on chefs and food experts to recommend farms, vendors, and locally made products. Most of all, your opinions matter so return surveys after your meal and offer up your favorite recipe and product suggestions.

Do Dinner Baskets include recipes and safe food handling instructions?

Dinner Basket recipes are included in the bags and available on the website. Each recipe has safe food handling instructions for ingredients throughout the food preparation and cooking process. These include steps for defrosting meat and perishable products, safe washing instructions for produce, and cooking temperatures. For more information go to the USDA website.

What special meat handling instructions does Kingdom Provisions recommend?

Kingdom Provisions recommends customers follow the USDA guidelines for safe meat storage, preparation, and cooking.

Is Kingdom Provisions licensed?

Kingdom Provisions adheres to all applicable regulations governing food production, handling, and preparation in the State of Vermont. We are licensed by Vermont’s Departments of Agriculture and Public Health.

Do you provide nutrition information for your meals?

At this time we do not. Going forward we plan to work closely with a nutritionist to develop nutrition information for our recipes and to develop meals that satisfy different dietary preferences.

Does Kingdom Provisions sell certified organic products?

At this time, we do not guarantee the sales of certified organic products, but all of our vendors and farmers use best practices to grow, raise, and prepare their products.

Does Kingdom Provisions guarantee that their ingredients are allergen-free?

At this time, we cannot guarantee that ingredients in our recipes allergen-free. Please check labels on products packaged by our vendors for more information.

Payments, Pricing and Promotions

Where can I find coupons, promotion codes, referral rewards or purchase gift cards?

Coupons, promotion codes, referral rewards, and gift cards are coming soon.  Sign up for email updates or check your Account page.

How do I rate meals and send suggestions?

Kingdom Provisions sends email surveys to customers after they receive their Dinner Baskets. We appreciate your time and help to serve you better.

Is Kingdom Provisions a subscription service?

No. Customers can order as often as they like.

What is the payment method for ordering?

Kingdom Provisions uses PayPal. You do not need to have a PayPal account to place an order. You can use your Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express to make PayPal payments.

Returns, Exchanges and Cancellations

What should I do if ingredients in the Dinner Basket is missing or damaged?

Kingdom Provisions inspects all Dinner Baskets before delivery for missing items and damaged goods. Customers should check all ingredients immediately after delivery when unwrapping the delivery bag and storing ingredients in the refrigerator. We apologize for any inconvenience and ask that you take a photo of the damaged good in question and contact customerservice@mykingdomprovisions.com as soon as possible.

What if I need to cancel my order?

Kingdom Provisions cannot accept cancellations less than five business days prior to delivery. For cancellations at least five business days prior to delivery send request to customerservice@mykingdomprovisions.com by 7:00 pm.

What if I need to cancel or change my delivery time?

There is a $15 charge for cancellations or changes to scheduled delivery times.  Please note that deliveries can only be rescheduled within the available time slots: 6:30 – 8:00 am or  4:30 – 6:30 pm.

How do I reach customer service?

Customer service can be reached at customerservice@mykingdomprovisions.com. We will try to respond as quickly as possible, but please allow up to 12 hours, especially during non business hours.

Shopping, Ordering and Delivery

When is Kingdom Provisions open for shopping?

You can review all the Dinner Baskets, including ingredients and recipes, at anytime. You can also place orders 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Orders needs to be place 24-hours in advance.  The sooner you get your order in, the more delivery options you have. Early ordering also insures your favorite Dinner Basket will not be sold out.

Where do you deliver?

Currently Kingdom Provisions delivers to East Burke, West Burke, Lyndonville, Kirby, and St. Johnsbury in the Northeast Kingdom. Sign up for mailings to learn when we expand our delivery range.

What’s included in a Dinner Basket?

Kingdom Provisions Dinner Baskets include all the meat, vegetables, starches, seasonings, salt, and oil for the desired number of servings and a recipe card.

Do you deliver on holidays?

Yes, we deliver on many holidays. If you have an account with Kingdom Provisions you will be notified of closings by email as well as by a message in your “My Account” dashboard page.

What if I am not home to accept delivery?

Kingdom Provisions requires that customers be home to accept delivery and sign the Dinner Basket delivery receipt. Customers who are not home at the scheduled time and day will not be given a refund.

Can I order from my cell phone?

MyKingdomProvisions.com is easy to use on any device and makes ordering convenient.  Fans of local food can also call in their orders. 802-535-1693

Where does Kingdom Provisions deliver to?

Kingdom Provisions delivers to homes, condos, hotels, and camp grounds in East Burke. Customers should make sure that the name on your accommodations reservations is the same on your order to insure proper delivery. Delivery drivers meet customers in the hotel lobby of the Burke Mountain Resort on the main floor next to the reservation desk. In campgrounds, drivers deliver to main entrance.

What is the delivery schedule and how far in advance do I need to order?

Kingdom Provisions delivers Dinner Baskets six days a week from Monday through Saturday.  On Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays delivery is late afternoon from 4:30 – 6:30.  On Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays customers can reserve early morning (6:30 – 8:00 am) or late afternoon (4:30 – 6:30 pm) delivery time slots. Be sure to order early in the week to guarantee your first choice of times and day. Orders must be placed 24 hours in advance for next day delivery.

All deliveries must be accepted and signed by customers 18 years or older.

Vendors

Who are your vendors?

Kingdom Provisions uses the freshest, best tasting seasonal ingredients from established and trusted farmers and vendors who engage in healthy and humane practices: Ariston Oils, Cabot Cheese, Chase Brook Farm, Crooked Mile Cheese, Holy Smoke Smoked Olive Oil, Prospect Farm, Roots Too Farm, Screaming Ridge Farm, Sugar Bob’s Finest Maple Syrup, Vermont Creamery, Wheeler Sugarworks, Wilder Farm, and Wozz’s Kitchen Creations.

Where do you get your meats?

Our meat comes from farmers in Vermont and from processing facilities in Vermont. Both farms and processing facilities are monitored closely by inspectors from the state’s Agency of Agriculture offices. Labels on processed meat provide consumers with information about processing facility, date processed, and weight.

Where do you get your specialty foods and dairy?

Kingdom Provisions purchases prepared specialty foods and dairy products from vendors and manufacturers that are licensed and inspected by the State of Vermont.

Where do you get your produce?

Kingdom Provisions purchases produce from local farmers and from distributors of produce raised regionally when possible.
